Description

Call Me Maybe is a song by Canadian recording artist and singer/songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen, from her first extended play, Curiosity (2012).  With other pop singers like Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez raving about the song on twitter, it gained international attention.  The song has been described by critics as the perfect pop song, with its upbeat tempo and dance-pop and disco influences.  The story or this track alludes to the difficulties that love at first sight brings to girls expecting and hoping to get a call back by telephone.  Call Me Maybe has attained great success worldwide reaching number one in Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, UK and Canada.  Carly has performed this track live a few times, and made a great impression during her television debut on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

If you think you recognize Carly Rae Jepsen, it is probably because you have seen her before.  In 2007 she placed third in the fifth season of Canadian Idol!

Description

Justin Bieber started recording his third album called Believe in late 2011 after completing “Mistletoe” just months before.  Kanye West and Drake will be featured on the album.  Justin Bieber recently announced via Twitter and later on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that the first single off Believe will be called Boyfriend and will be released on March 26, 2012.  Mike Posner famous for the songs “Please Don’t Go” and “Cooler Than Me” co-wrote the new single.
